Taste of Honey IV

Taste of Honey IV

TOP 100:

I just wanted to take a moment to comment on one Artist with such an natural flow to his overall composit, within Subject Matter, Attitude, and convaying of Visual Emotions. He is a Photographer named Palinchak Mikhail. His Black & White shots are quite impressive. I would advise any, and all who have an eye for the subtle, or the Straight on style of shooting in B/W to check out his works. I myself am presently trying to narrow down my selections to purchase of his photos since my wife, and me find ourselves wanting almost all we see on display, and can't wait to frame some of our top picks for hanging on the walls of our guest room here within our main residence. Go ahead, and do yourselves a favor,.. check our his pictures. Note: One of our agreed favorites have to be called Sunny Day. Mikle, Your Talents in Captured Shadows, Light, and that illution of feeling form with ones free thoughts, and visual input has got to be some of the very best examples in Technecal & Creative Skills that I've seen in a long while. Craddle in quality has come as the result of this, and you have to be praise for such. I am really impressed by your works, and as one of creative nature myself (in Multi-medias from music to sculputure, to photography, and beyond) I must say that within the limited examples I have been lucky enough to of come upon today you are one of the very rare ones I have felt compelled the need to stop and drop you a quick note to tell you so. Thank you for the shared works seen herein, and my personal pleasure in coming upon it...

Mikle is one of those Artists that has a certain special ability of reaching out at his subject, and captureing the heart of his target, as well as the overall spirit of that subject. You have some very pretty, soft, and gentle photos seen herein, and I should know that first hand since I've purchased some from the Artist already, Mikle, one great one with the Camera.

Mikhail. I will have a wall in my apartment called the "Mikhail Palinchack" wall when I get all the prints framed. It has been over three months since I first e-mailed you and then you responded. I appear to be building a relationship with you as well as a collection of your prints. This gives some depth and humanity to the pictures, and then your skills with photography add to this feeling. The thing that comes to mind is harmony and peace. These prints are very peaceful, especially Waterfall with the flow of the water. The Waterfall print also brings out a sense of harmony. The black hair of this women matches the black rock, and the white water reflects off her skin so that the woman, the water and the rock seem to be part of each other.

In Sunny Day, especially number one, the viewer is drawn to the extended right arm of the model and the bent left arm. Here, the forms of her arms are linear which matches the shape of the leaves. In this picture the curves of the woman keep the print soft and human as well as centered.. These two prints would not have been as successful with a very thin women. If that were the case, there would have only been angles. The same sense comes to mind in Waterfall. The curves of the model's body offset the angular shapes of the rock, and soften the entire print.

I think your prints of women on rocks or next to rocks are unique because the model looks natural and does not look uncomfortable. My comments also belong to another print, Touch. This sense of the model being comfortable is what gives off the feeling of peace and comfort to the viewer and lastly suggests you have great care and respect for the models you work with.

(25 september, 2001). I am all right. The bombing was difficult. I fell down and hurt myself and had to have medical work done on my head. I also broke many teeth. My brother was missing but they found him. Our office has been closed and now it is open. That is where my computer is. I live very close to the former World Trade Center. I saw the damage with my own eyes. My prints give me much comfort, especially the ones that you made. I look at Sunny Day every day. It is always part of my life. It made me cheerful while I was not feeling well. I am getting better. This is probably my best day after two weeks.
