Volodymyr
Baleha born in 1954 in Uzhgorod Transcarpathian region, Ukraine. In
1976 graduated from the Uzhgorod National University, Romano-Germanic
philology, English department. Worked at Roma School as a tutor until
1990. Desired to become a painter and studied painting together with
brother Yury at the Youth Studio of the famous Transcarpathian painter
Bakony.
Interest in photography
began in 1996 while studying under Mikhail Palinchak (AFIAP). Special interest is in black and white photography, colored landscapes, and nature. Professional career in photography began in 1998 with the opening of his private photo studio
in Uzhgorod.
Preferred camera is the
"Minolta DYNAX 9". Digital processing is handled by Mikhail Palinchak. Active participant in many international salons and
competitions during the past three years. Works have been constantly
adopted at Austrian Super Circuit, Caja Vital Kutxa, The Golden Spurs
etc.

I believe that man will obtain freedom of spirit of society and therefore, while man amidst the emenece of beauty of objective bodies, he must possess the capacity of self perfection and must observe and represent his world with full confidence. I believe photography is a tool to express our positive ascessment of the world. A tool to acquire ultimate happiness and belief."
